IBC Mixers

Transkem fluid mixers have a simple solution to a common problem. How do you mix viscous liquid in a square tank with only a small opening?

We were asked by a customer to mix a moderately high viscosity product in their IBC tanks before decanting into the manufacturing line. Their issue was small solids dropping out of suspension and layering of the product which was affecting their process with not having homogeneous raw material.

Transkem came up with the solution of the folding blade impeller and further enhanced this by mounting the complete mixer unit on channels which can be lifted simply by a forklift and clamped to the IBC frame.

We can supply in single phase or pneumatic drives enabling operators to simply 'plug in and mix' safely.
